Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference 2011:Evolving Influence

Posted by Francesca Alfano On Friday, February 11, 2011

Yesterday I attended the Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference held at MAC & Milk Studios. It was an amazing event and I am so fortunate I was able to attend.  If you couldn't make it to the event yesterday you were able to live stream the panels via the IFB website- which is pretty awesome if you couldn't make it out to NYC. I really was amazed by the magnitude of the event -almost every single big blogger was in attendance and the keynote speaker was from one of my favorite designers at the moment, Proenza Schouler.

I found the conference to be extremely helpful ,educational, and inspirational, with panels focusing on the business of blogging and the rise of the professional blogger. A few of the panelists included Geri Hirsch from Because I'm addicted, Karla Deras from Karla's Closet, Faran Krentcil from Nylon, Yvan Rodic from Face Hunter, and Wendy Lam from Nitrolicious

I decided to wear my red pants from Zara but I found that the trend of the day was red pants! Here i thought I was so original but it seemed that the other 5 bloggers in red pants thought the same thing too.

Wearing Zara Red Pants, Thrifted Blazer, Leopard pumps from (Jessica Simpson), Vintage Bracelets and my mom's Birkin Bag (love her!)
