These stunning illustrations drawn by David Downtown truely capture the glamour and essence of the late Elizabeth Taylor. I would love to create some prints from these and hang around my apartment.

December has been an amazing month so far. Words cannot express how blessed I feel to have such amazing and slightly crazy people in my life. Each day has been spent with great company filled with tons of laughter. I can't really explain it but the city has an incredible energy during this month and I've tried to capture some of these little moments on my instagram. Make sure to follow and experience my daily adventures as I turn this magical city into my playground.

Tis the season for bright holiday lights and shiny News Year disco balls, so in light of all this holiday inspiration, i snapped a few pics of my attire that makes me sparkle like a walking CZ. The black and white sequin tops are both vintage and for under $ 20 each they add loads of glitz to any outfit. I picked up the necklaces, ring, and gold top at J.Crew, which usually has a nice variety of accessories that are sure to make you dazzle. And what girl doesn't want to dazzle? I once remember being told in college that I had gawdy jewels and looking back on that what a compliment! Layer them on me my friends !

I had an amazing birthday this year and was spoiled with way too many gifts. I'm not trying to brag or anything but my mama and boyfriend did an EXTRA good job this year and deserve some credit on the blog! Mom got me this butter soft leather jacket from Aritzia and even though its 30 degrees in New York I refuse to switch to heavier coat. And he got me the Marc Jacobs Francesca Tote along with some Erica Weiner Jewels, and a facial at Bliss Spa ( two thumbs up & a big smile). I truly am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life :)
This editorial made me super excited for my New Years getaway! Absolutely cannot wait to be on a beach surrounded by crystal clear water.

How nice would it be if we could shower our gals this holiday season with fabulous trinkets and baubles for the endless nights spent listening to our stories about boys, work, and the much appreciated fashion assistance ever so often. Well for most we may not be able to shower our besties with gifts of gratitude, however a small thoughtful gift goes a long way. I handpicked some great options all under $ 45 each which are totally affordable for the girl on a holiday budget.
